We will be starting these classes in January 2011 at The Hut at Rex Printers. There is free parking at Rex and The Hut has enough space for six to eight people to craft happily (ie enough space to spread out) and even a space for refreshments.
Once a month we are teaching scrapbook layout classes. These will be double page layouts appropriate for the month. We'll be making cards from the leftovers too. Everything apart from the basic tools will be provided for you in a kit made up by me, Jeni. I will pick an appropriate theme for each month and purchase all the supplies needed. I will make sure that you get the best quality supplies without going overboard on cost.
Every couple months or so, Janet will be teaching an altered mini album class. These are really fun to make and are great as gifts or to leave out on your coffee tables. You can do a lot with these mini albums and there are thousands of options and choices.
My Mom and I will be there to help throughout the class with any little things that might crop up.
The cost for each class covers the kits, basic refreshments (large cinnamon mochachinos with extra whip from Costa* not included). Any monies left over will go into a special box – after 6 months I will purchase a surprise (or two) for a giveaway! Everyone that comes to a class will go into the 'hat' to win a prize.
Classes will be limited to 6 - 8 people. Men are welcomed too. Bookings will be essential since I need to order and make up the kits.
