Spring is almost here
and so is Mothers day. Great quality patterned paper, glitter, flowers and buttons! and borders too.
For March's layout class I am planning another wonderful layout with these bright vintage feel papers from SassafrassLass.
I haven't picked a date for this class yet - possible 27 March.

Ooh La La
What have you got planned for Valentine’s Day?
A nice romantic meal for two?
Maybe a semi-romantic meal with the kids?
Will you be getting engaged?
Married possibly?
Or maybe you don’t even know.
Whatever you get up to, this heart shaped mini album (wood album) would be perfect to preserve your memories and thoughts. With space for up to 24 small photographs you can use this album for so many lovely occasions.

Love
Our class for February's scrapbook is next week (still plenty of time to sign up for the class - I think we will only have around 3 people in this class so you will definitely have a lot of space to spread out!
I am working on the Love themed Valentine Cards that you will be able to make with the left overs from the layout. I might be able to get a 4th and 5th card made. The amount of cards you can make will depend on how many hearts (how much of the paper) that you use on the layout. I still have some felted hearts to use - will show you when they are ready to be photographed.

A Fun And Funky Layout
for Valentines Day. I had fallen in love with this all these hearts and ribbons. I just need to find some photographs that fit in with the lovely colours and style.
I have been asked by a student/participant to make this kit predominately blue. I think it will look gorgeous with more blue.I tested the main part of the layout on blue cardstock, and with blue ribbon added it will be lovely. (This isn't the completely finished design - it does have more of it).
A few little teasers of the LOVE layout. The sparkly ribbon is so pretty and just adds the right amount of zing.

I can't wait to teach this class and see what everyone makes. Even though you will be using the same kits, these layouts always pick up the personality of its maker.

almost almost
the supplies for the layout class should be arriving soon! I can't wait! but how will I do at teaching this Saturday? I think I'll do a good job - I don't really think of it as teaching - more like helping people create these layouts for themselves.

February Mini Album Class CANCELLED
Mini albums rock! They are so cool and fun to make. Also making great birthday presents and amazing coffee table books.
This mini album will be available for you to see in the January class which will be held at our home since we only have one 'student', along with the double page layout for February.
You have a choice of three paper collections to use for this class. You get three sheets, one of each design. We will also be using paper flowers on this album along with some alpha letters - I will make sure that they fit with the paper collection you choose.
Collection 1: Hot Pink and Black
Collection 2: Bright Blue and Pink
Collection 3: Elegant Black and Cream

Please sign up for this class and pay in advance by Wednesday 16th to avoid disappointment. If for some reason this album is unavailable, we will be making another heart themed album that will have the same feel and effect.
This is a multi part class because they can take two classes to finish but you don't have to come to both classes. You get the full instructions and everything you need for this so can finish it at home.

Happy 2011
What did you all get up to at New Years? We stayed home and watched some movies. At Midnight we did hear the fireworks that went off somewhere near by.
Had a nice lazy holiday and even got some crafting done. But now is the time to get serious and get our scrapbook layout and mini album classes to the attention of more people. And I have to get some of my scrapbook pages from August done! I have so many photographs that need to be scrapped and I have to plan the layout and colors of my new craft room too! I am working on a special layout for my Resolutions. Did you make any?
